Protecting the environment and using resources efficiently is a declared goal of TECLAC’s management. An energy management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001 was introduced and certified at our Fulda site in 2013 and at the St. Egidien site near Lichtenstein/Saxony in 2016. With the aim of minimising all environmentally relevant influences as far as possible, it was therefore decided at the end of 2017 to ensure a planned and systematic approach by installing an environmental management system (EMS). All TECLAC employees were involved in the project. At the end of October 2018, our company’s EMS was audited for the first time by DEKRA Certification GmbH on the basis of the requirements of the internationally recognised DIN EN ISO 14001 standard and certified on schedule.
In addition to DIN EN ISO 9001/IATF 16949 and DIN EN ISO 9001 for the quality management system and DIN EN ISO 50001 for the energy management system, the third management system has now been assessed as conforming to the standard by an external and independent organisation. This strengthens TECLAC’s position on the market as a competent partner in the automotive industry.
